Laser Airlines DC-3 crash in Colombia

On 9th of March a Douglas DC-3 from Laser Aereo / Airlines departed San José del Guaviare but crashed.

While midway through the flight to Villavicencio, the crew did send a distress message. After that the aircraft crashed in offroad terrain. There were 14 people on board, there were no survivors.

The DC-3, registered HK-2494, built in 1945, did have the correct certifications according to the local authorities. The crew had their pilot licence’s and medical records were normal.
