The dream became reality, thanks to LOT Polish Airlines (LO/LOT), Air Belgium (KF/ABB) landed in the USA.

Air Belgium already has owned his permit for US flights a few months ago but OO-ABA, an Airbus A340-313, owned by the Belgian airline touched for the first time the American ground at New York JFK (JFK/KJFK) after flying from Warsaw Okecie (WAW/EPWA) as LO26 during 8:45.

The A340-313 landed in New York at 01:30 UTC this early morning, which makes another achievement for the new Belgian airline.

This flight was done for LOT Polish Airlines after 3 DREAMLINER got stuck, due to RR Trent 1000 engine problems, which we exclusively revealed :

Air Belgium eyes American scheduled flights during the following years.
