TUI fly Netherlands takes its second Boeing 737 MAX 8 into service.

This morning, TUI fly Netherlands received its second Boeing 737 MAX 8. It landed after a non-stop flight from Seattle of 10 hours. It got the name “Antalya”.

The second Boeing 737 MAX 8 for TUI fly Netherlands (OR/TFL) landed this morning at 07:56L after a non-stop flight from the Boeing factory in Seattle (BFI/KBFI). The new 737 MAX gets the registration ‘PH-TFO’ and the name “Antalya”. Every new Boeing 737 MAX for TUI fly Netherland will get a name of a destination (“Boa Vista” for ‘PH-TFN’, “Antalya for ‘PH-TFO’).

This aircraft will go to Brussels Airport – Zaventem (BRU/EBBR) for an EFB Modification (Electronic Flight Bag Modification). The departure is scheduled today 26 January at 17:00L from Amsterdam – Schiphol (AMS/EHAM). ‘PH-TFO’ will return to Amsterdam – Schiphol on 01 February 2019.

Its first commercial flight will be OR561 from Amsterdam (AMS/EHAM) to Tenerife Sur (TFS/GCTS) on 4 February 2019, according to the ‘Schiphol Amsterdam Airport’ app. Scheduled departure: 10:55L.
