The only Airbus A340 of Surinam Airways ‘PZ-TCR’ is grounded at Hahn Airport (HHN/EDFH) due to a landing gear replacement and a c-check. The aircraft had to be available again but it is still at Hahn Airport. The aircraft would be available again in March.

‘PZ-TCR’ (normally) operates flights PY993 and PY994 from Amsterdam – Schiphol Airport (AMS/EHAM) to Paramaribo (PBM/SMJP).

Now, flights PY993 and PY994 are operated by a Boeing 777-212(ER), ‘EC-MUA’ of Privilege Style. On Mondays, this flights are operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner of TUI fly Netherlands. Also Wamos Air operates this flights with its Boeing 747 and Airbus A330, when the Boeing 777 of Privilege Style is not available.

‘PZ-TCR’ is 20 years old and is an ex Air China aircraft. Surinam Airways has also 2 Boeing 737 of 13 years old.
