First Boeing 737 MAX 8 for TUI fly Netherlands

The first Boeing 737 MAX 8 for TUI fly Netherlands arrived on 19 December 2018 at Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS/EHAM). The day after its arrival, the aircraft went to Brussels (BRU/EBBR) for configuration of the cabin.

On 19 December, the first Boeing 737 MAX 8 landed on runway 18R (‘Polderbaan’) at Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS/EHAM) after a flight of 10 hours from Seattle Boeing Field (BFI/KBFI). The aircraft ‘PH-TFN’, named “Boa Vista” is the 8th Boeing 737 MAX 8 for the TUI Group, after 4 for TUI fly Belgium, 2 for TUI Airways / UK and 1 for TUI fly Nordic.

1 day later, PH-TFN went to Brussels Airport as TFL063F for configuration of the cabin. It will return to Amsterdam on 29 December

The Boeing 737 MAX consumes 14% less fuel than the 737 Next Generation and has lower emissions. The 737 MAX 8 is stronger, ligher and more aerodynamic than its predecessors.
